Laser Materials

The OEM and aftermarket for Laser optics used in a variety of industrial and research applications is very large, and Vital Materials manufactures a variety of CVD ZnSe lenses and blanks as well as GaAs lens and blanks for the CO2 laser industry. These laser optics can be processed using typical optical machining techniques including grinding, polishing and diamond turning.  All SMTY (sufficient material to yield) and pre-generated shapes are offered in both materials.

Laser is an excellent coherent light source with good monochromaticity, strong directivity and high brightness. It is widely used in scientific research and industrial fields. Carbon dioxide laser is a kind of laser with high continuous output power. It is widely used in industrial production, communication, information processing, medical and health, and scientific research fields.
